My little one just received a letter from the ballet company that her school is affiliated with and was informed that her audition for a part in the spring production of Swan Lake was a success!!!
Her part: Royal cousin at the Prince’s birthday party in the first act.
We had to submit her measurements for her costume last night and she was so happy. It turns out that it will be a family affair since my father (Tuba), brother (trumpet), and myself (French horn) will be performing with the pit orchestra.
I am so grateful that she has this opportunity and is enjoying performing. Many weekends will be consumed at rehersals but it will keep me out of trouble and out of the shopping malls!! I love the Arts!!!
