Things seem to have gone a bit quiet on here. In fact it's quiet all over my part of the Internet. Perhaps people are too busy doing all the Xmassy things.
Anywho, last Sunday I attended the Cheam Squash Club Annual Christmas Tandem Ride And Pub Lunch.
Not so many bikes this year and only a couple of tandems (there used to be 20 plus every year) but it was great fun as usual and a delight for me to meet so many old chums.
I don't ride any more. Sold my tandem a few years back. I just turn up for the Christmas Dinner which has been going on for about 25 years. Naturally much of the conversation is about "all our yesterdays" and many of the attendees either had performed on stage with me or always came to watch.
The fact that so many people remember our various appearances and want to talk about them is an absolute treasure I will always hold dear. I can thoroughly recommend amateur dramatics to anyone.

My Xmas stint is just about to hit the ground running. We are rehearsing in the theatre on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and open next Friday for three performances.
I've been nursing pharyngitis this week so I hope to be back in good voice by Sunday.
